From the Team:
“I love music, any kind of music”
I’m sorry but I just need to attach the video from the above link.
God dammit this video is so epic. I’m always jazzed up when I listen to this song, but I have now ascended to another level of inner-boogyness after watching this video. I am living vicariously through the women at the 1:30 mark. Damn, she is MOVING. People need to move more like the people in this crowd. Just no fucks given. The stupid iPhone ruined everything. Thanks a lot, Steve - you created an eagle eye.
One last thing…. Cloudy Sangster’s EP is donezo. We are submitting to our distributor this week. I will have more info for you next week. Buckle up.

Artist of the Week:
Wallace
Instagram: @wallacejimmygs
Everyone, meet Wallace:
This lad has been coming up in the tech-house/minimal-house scene recently, with his unique, nature inspired productions. He’s been releasing music on his own imprint, Tartan Records, for the past 2 years, and has received support in sets from Barry Can’t Swim, Ryan Elliot, Roman Flugal, Adam Port, Dixon and Palms Trax. Wow, what a lineup. But it’s for good reason, take a listen to this thumper:
“Breaking Up” got me hooked to the bloke, but the more tracks I listen to, the more I become hooked.
Someone who has had the ability to make multiple trips to Berghain/Panorama bar is someone you want to know.
It’s always interesting to see how DJs’ differentiate themselves from others, and for Wallace, he has made this red plaid design his recognizable staple.
Here’s his most recent release in 2024:
It’s not too late to join the Wallace train. Here at LED we want to point out the “next up” artists, and this man is him.

Event of the Week:
This one is for the freaks. Come get some techno on Saturday night at Paragon right off of Broadway in Bushwick. Appropriately deep (for some of you Manhattan Mangos) as the legendary Kevin Saunderson is hitting the sticks. For the kids that don’t know, Kevin has been a major player in the game as he was raised in Detroit and is one the Belleville Three, which were a trio that literally put techno on the map in DEEETroit. If that isn’t enough to open up the piggy bank, Kevin’s nickname is The Elevator because he “transports his sounds to a wider audience.” Also, I have not been to Paragon yet, but it looks like a club out of the Blade Runner.

Mix of the Week:
Glasgow Underground Radio w/ Kevin Mckay
If this dude Kevin McKay knows how to do one thing, it’s make a flipping banger edit. He just knows the recipe to take a track and throw a killer addicting bassline into it. Unreal hit rate. Tap into to a recent set of his on his own label radio show, Glasgow Underground!
