Blue Vision

Originally from Marseille and now based in Paris, Blue Vision is a DJ and producer duo known for blending electro-driven basslines with melodic synth work inspired by Italo influences. Their sound draws from the textures of the 1980s while incorporating the energy and attitude of the 2000s, creating a style that feels both familiar and forward-thinking. They are certainly one of my favorite discoveries of the year, I mean just check these out and maybe you’ll understand what I mean.

As the founders of Phosphor, Blue Vision have used the label to shape and showcase their artistic vision. Through both their own releases and the music they champion, they continue to develop a sound that balances cinematic melodies, emotional depth, and club-ready energy. It is truly an addictive sound.

With a growing catalog and a clear musical identity, Blue Vision are helping push the next generation of melodic electronic music while continuing to expand their presence on the international scene. Once I heard their latest EP release “Machines Will Transform Us,” the duo shot to the top of the list of my favorite up and coming artists to watch.

Mungo Sound Machine & Co @ BarDoof

For any west coast/mountainous readers. This weeks event is worth a backcountry expedition to get to. Our friends out in SLC are throwing a special event at their very own venue Bardoof. With a diverse but cohesive lineup featuring MSM, TXHLDEM, Sweeter, & our guy Cloudy Sangster. I damn near bought a flight when this lineup dropped but instead I will live in regret and in the Soundcloud live sets when they drop (they better).
