Artist of the Week:
DJ Sandwich
Instagram: @djsandwichclub
Operating under the alias DJ Sandwich, the Barcelona-based artist has built a career driven by curiosity, consistency, and a deep respect for the dancefloor. His musical path was set in motion by a defining revelation: listening to Daft Punk’s Homework. It was a moment that instilled a daily need to create.
DJ Sandwich’s journey took form at The Loft (Razzmatazz), one of Barcelona’s most iconic club spaces. As a resident for seven years, he developed the instincts that define his approach today: learning how to read a room, build long narratives, and let tracks breathe instead of forcing moments. Those years behind the decks were formative, grounding him in the fundamentals of club culture while sharpening his technical and curatorial identity.
Today, DJ Sandwich is a familiar presence across Europe’s club and festival circuit. He has performed at venues and events such as Astin (Barcelona), Goya Social Club (Madrid), Días de Campo (Valencia), Input (Barcelona), Cova Santa (Ibiza), Panic Room, Le Mazette (Paris), and Brunch Electronik, among others. Whether in intimate rooms or open-air settings, his sets are defined by flow rather than spectacle.
Musically, his DJ performances sit at the intersection of minimal-house, house, and deep-tech, blending hypnotic grooves with subtle sophistication. The result is a beautiful atmosphere. Each production release a different angle of his musical personality. This openness has led him to release music on respected labels such as Miura Records, Dreams On Wax, theBasement Discos, Odd Pleasures, Re.Face, and Oge Records.
In an industry often driven by fast cycles, DJ Sandwich stands out for his long-term vision. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, his focus remains the same: craft music made for the moment and remain rooted in club culture.

Event of the Week:
Dan Ghenacia All Night Long @ Signal
This couldn’t be more simple. Dan Ghenacia returns to NYC for an all night long affair at Signal on Saturday night. I will lay out a few reasons why you should go to this and not consider anything else for your Saturday night. 1) For those that don’t know, Dan is 1/3rd of Apollonia - the trio of Paris underground’s hottest exports. 2) All night long sets are the best. You can show up at 10pm and already catch the headline shelling 🫨. 3) Signal has a precise sound system that is clean. You will not blow your eardrums and this will mesh well with Dan’s vinyl focused set.
Now go!
